Shauna Bonestroo

Born and raised in small town South Dakota, I developed a deep-rooted sense of community and service to others. My career has pivoted on such fundamental skills as attentiveness, thoroughness, empathy, and dedication. Upon graduating high school, I worked in childcare for several years, which I found to be a rewarding experience that both challenged and improved my ability to appreciate the circumstances and needs of others, as well as how to navigate interpersonal conflict. I then spent several more years working in retail, which further refined my customer service skills such as active listening, problem-solving, and communication.

As Legal Office Assistant at Resolute Law Firm, I assist in many essential daily office tasks such as answering the phones, filing court documents, and organizing client files. I correspond directly with our potential and current clients, connecting them efficiently with our attorneys and paralegals and ensuring that everyone is receiving the high-quality attention and service that a small firm like ours can provide.

Outside of the office, I love anything truly “small town” South Dakota such as four-wheeling, camping, and biking. My husband and I are also fond of animals and currently have two dogs, a snake, and more unusual—an albino axolotl.
