A South Dakota native, I moved to Lander, WY to attend Wyoming Catholic College, where I graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Arts in 2013. I then went on to earn an M.A. in Classics remotely from University of Wales Trinity Saint David while teaching Latin before starting my career in the legal field. I worked for several years as a paralegal for a solo private-practice attorney in Wyoming before moving back to my hometown of Sioux Falls. My experience includes drafting and reviewing pleadings, correspondence, and contracts in many areas of law such as family law, personal injury, real estate, criminal defense, estate planning, probate, guardianship, business representation, civil litigation, and tribal and municipal law. My interest in law stems naturally from my background in classics and critical thinking, and in August of 2021 I decided to take the next step in my legal career and matriculated at Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
In my role as a family law paralegal at Resolute Law Firm, I take pride in keeping clients up to date with frequent communication on their case progress, as well as answering any procedural questions, preparing for deadlines and hearings, and constructing creative settlement offers.
Outside of the office, I enjoy travelling, spending time outdoors with friends and family, and teaching conversational Latin.
